Job Title:FT Home Medical Equipment Technician & Delivery
Reports To:Store Manager


Pay based on combination of skills, knowledge and abilities.Classification: Full-time, NonexemptHours: up to 30+ hours per week to include weekends and some holidays.

Current store hours:

Mon-Fri: 9a-5p, Sat: 10a-2p

General Description

Utilize established policies, procedures and best practices to ensure maintenance of company owned rental equipment including assessing, cleaning, logging and repair. Receive and check in shipments. Assemble products and stock shelves. Ability to deliver equipment efficiently, accurately and timely. Safely loading, unloading and securing medical equipment on company vehicles. Safe operation of all vehicles and equipment and ensuring proper maintenance of such. Greet customers, answer phones and monitor facsimile and electronic mail. Communicate in a friendly, patient and professional manner at all times. Answer routine questions/issues from customers. Direct other customer inquiries to appropriate party. Assess customer needs and inform them about products and services available. Consistently complete all assignments in a timely manner and maintain applicable paperwork and records. Ability to resolve minor problems and recognize when to involve management. Ability to prioritize, organize and stay on-task. Responsible for compliance with work place policies and procedures. Assist in maintaining a clean and safe workplace for co-workers and customers. Identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents and property damage. Provide extraordinary customer service, at all times. Present a professional image via proper hygiene and grooming, as well as adherence to company dress code. Must be flexible and responsive to perform these and other duties as assigned. This position typically works under the general supervision of the Store Manager.

Work Experience Requirements

Six months to two years customer service experience preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Detail oriented and highly observant. Ability to multitask. Proven good customer service background. Excellent computer skills preferred.

Education Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalency required. All applicants must provide a current and clean 7-year MVR.
