General Description

  • Responsible for artistically arranging flowers to fulfill customer orders such as traditional or custom arrangements, wedding bouquets, wreaths, corsages, and other decorations.
  • Fill special orders for holidays or other occasions.
  • Able to create original designs.
  • Responsible for assisting with large orders.
  • Work with clients to fulfill their vision for occasions such as weddings, funerals, or celebrations and events.
  • Work with a wide range of foliage and flowers.
  • Keep flowers watered and fresh.
  • Discard wilting or dead arrangements.
  • Provide impeccable, friendly service to customers both in person and on the phone.
  • Inform customers about the care, maintenance, and handling of flowers and foliage.
  • Provide advice and suggestions for flower selection.
  • Prepare window and store displays.
  • Unpack flowers and prepare for storage.
  • Deliver flowers to clients, if necessary.
  • Present a professional image via proper hygiene and grooming, as well as adherence to dress code.
  • Must be flexible and responsive to perform these and other duties, as assigned.

** Successful completion of drug screen and back ground check are required. **

Work Experience Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Two year’s experience in relate field preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to interact and communicate clearly and in a pleasant manner with individuals at all levels of the organization and the public.
  • Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and follow through in a timely manner.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • Working knowledge of computers and other modern office equipment.

Education Requirements

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalency preferred.

    Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and back ground check.
