General Description

• Greet customers, answer phones, process cash register transactions for front end merchandise, and walk the sales floor to assist customers and increase sales.
• Communicate in a friendly, patient and professional manner at all times. Answer routine questions/issues from customers.
• Direct other customer inquiries to appropriate party.
• Responsible for reordering and visual presentation of merchandise to maximize selling opportunities and profit.
• Receive and process all payments according to standard procedures.
• Assist in the opening and closing of location which includes, but is not limited to, accurately handling cash and deposits.
• Assess customer needs and inform them about products and services available.
• Actively work with merchandising staff from the Corporate office to prepare for sales and promotions and be a resource for other staff members regarding same.
• Consistently completes all assignments in a timely manner and maintains applicable paperwork and records.
• Presents a professional image via proper hygiene and grooming, as well as adherence to company dress code. Must be flexible and responsive to perform these and other duties as assigned.

Work Experience Requirements

• Six months to two years minimum customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented and highly observant.
• Ability to multitask.
• Possesses strong mathematical skills. Cash handling experience preferred.
• Proven good customer service background.

Education Requirements

Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screen and back ground check.
