Pay based on a combination of experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. Hours to include evenings, weekends and some holidays.

General Description

Responsible for the safe delivery of prescription medication. Ability to plan delivery route to maximize efficiency and productivity for the day. Safe driving and operation of delivery vehicle to deliver/pick up prescriptions to patients home or place of business. Coordinate paperwork and payment with the customer as required. Preparing, loading, unloading and maintaining the delivery vehicle in good operating condition. Meet established delivery deadlines to ensure contract compliance. Return to the pharmacy with proper co-pays and delivery signatures. Provide friendly service and delivery for existing and new customers. Must be able to communicate in both written and verbal form of all levels.

Work Experience Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted. Must possess and maintain a valid GA driver’s license. Maintain a clean MVR. Ability to organize and prioritize tasks. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Excellent teamwork skills are a must. Ability to solve minor problems and recognize when to involve management. Ability to meet deadlines and stay on-task without distraction. Responsible for compliance with workplace policies and procedures. Identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage. Proper utilization of appropriate personal protective equipment. Basic computer skills required to include ability to become proficient with Excel spreadsheets. Successful completion of drug screen, background check and MVR required.

Education Requirements

Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalency preferred. All applicants must provide a current and clean 7 year MVR report. Pre-employment screening to include a drug screen and background check.
